Hi Brig I was wondering if you could help me with an issue I’m having with my hair. So my hair is curly but I roller set it and then blow it out so I could be straight and look healthy, so my problem is that on my side part my hair stands straight up!! No matter what I do those little hairs stick up!! I’ve tried Argan Oil, a little Beeswax, hairspray… And well those products either leave my hair oily or greasy or the hairspray leaves it really hard and stiff. I wish I could send you a pic so you could get a better idea but I didn’t want to post one on your page
So anyways if you could give me some ideas of technique or product so that those hairs could just sit an lay flat I would really appreciate it. I look like a crazy the first day like I stuck my finger in a light socket and the next day not so bad. LoL Thank you so much for taking the time to read my message and help me!
With much love and respect,
Briana
Hi Briana!
The little hairs are probably “new growth”. Are they pointed on the end? If they are blunt, they are breakage. The good news is if it is new growth, it will start to blend in once it gets a bit longer, about 3-4 months. 1/2″ approximate growth per month. NOW the solution I recommend is spraying a firm hold hairspray onto the palm of your hand & pressing those hairs down. This way you only get the hairspray where you need it. I’d used Holding Spray from Bumble and bumble. Good luck! let me know if this helps. Brig
*P.s.- Try parting on the other side.
Hi Brig yes you were right they are new growth hairs, so I took your advice and put alittle hairspray in my hands and smoothed them down and it worked like a charm!!!! Thank you sooooo very much, now I’m not looking like a crazy with little freezes sticking up
The bumble and bumble spray is awesome. You are the best thank you again
Briana
