Dear Brig,
I hate the cut I just got from a salon. What should I do?
If it is from your regular stylist, call them and explain that your new look isn’t working and find out when they can fit you in and make some amendments, so that it will be a cut that you will like. (Be kind, stylists are creative people and appreciate gentle words.) If you do not feel comfortable contacting the stylist that did the original cut, call the salon and ask to speak to the manager. They should be willing to get you in for an adjustment with another stylist for no additional charge. If your hair turned out too short and you feel that nothing can be remedied, ask for a refund. For future appointments, bring a picture of what you had in mind. Pictures really help bridge the gap between a client and a stylist.
