It is no secret that I love to “brig out” my clothes. I challenge all of you to head to your closets and pull out that item that still has tags on it. You know exactly the one. You are afraid to wear it for whatever BS reason. Wear it tomorrow fearlessly. Who cares what anyone thinks or says. Decide to keep it, donate it or “brig” it out. Let me know how that goes for you….
I went to my closet and pulled out this blazer. I bought it at H & M about 5 years ago and only wore it once. Each time I’ve tried since I felt it made me look boxy. Here how I reinvented it and LOVE it…
Clorox Splashless Bleach!!!!
After only 4 minutes with bleach
1st light bleach bath for 5 minutes, then in red dye bath for 15 minutes
Scissors are out, my secret helper Tsar supervises before I sew cut pieces together..
Fleamarket finds. I made buttons out of old tiger clip on earrings... Grrrrrr..

Brig, i luv you, from day one i loved your creative persona . i could not stand how the rest of the cast would hate on you, they didnt understand you so they where scared . i was routing for you hard and cried when you one. i love when the underdog comes out on top. Second, I am so excited you won Shear Genius. I got hooked during a Bravo marathon a couple of weeks ago. As a previous poster said, I know they edit to make things more interesting, but I have to say, I’m really glad the right person won. I actually cheered. AND it was so super satisfying to see Jonathan “I do Great Hair” Antin knocked down a couple of pegs on his views of what High Fashion is all about.
