Dear Brig, My stylist recommended a boar bristle brush. I have a plastic vent brush. Will the boar bristles help smooth my thick curly hair?

If your hair is longer go with the 3 1/2″ size. When you watch backstage footage from photo shoots and fashion shows watch for these brushes, they are a favorite among celebrity stylists. The bristles are extremely soft and the hourglass shape of the brush help it glide through your hair and not get stuck. Remember to always use a concentrator nozzle on your blow dryer to prevent heat damage to your hair and brush.
